Nashik Mayor's First Letter to Residents Pledges Civic Action and Cleanliness
In her inaugural "letter to residents," Nashik Mayor Himgauri Aher on Friday delivered a strong commitment to tackling all civic concerns raised by citizens. The letter, released to commemorate Marathi Language Day, also included a heartfelt appeal for residents to actively participate in maintaining the city's cleanliness and adhering to traffic regulations.
Commitment to Resolving Grievances
According to the letter, the municipal administration is fully dedicated to resolving citizens' grievances. "All our corporators are already at your service. Through the 'NMC e-Connect' app, your complaints and suggestions can reach us directly, and addressing them promptly will remain my foremost responsibility," Mayor Aher stated. This digital initiative aims to streamline communication and ensure swift action on public feedback.

The letter acknowledged Nashik's rapid urban expansion, noting that the city has grown significantly beyond its earlier boundaries. This development has brought about notable changes:

"We are all hosts of this grand religious event. Ensuring that our city remains clean, beautiful, safe and exemplary is not just the responsibility of the civic administration, but the collective responsibility of every Nashik resident," the letter stated.
