Pawan Kalyan Marks Jana Sena Anniversary with Unique Tribal Outreach in Andhra Pradesh

In a departure from conventional political celebrations, Jana Sena Party president and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan commemorated the party's 13th anniversary by immersing himself in the remote tribal communities of Andhra Pradesh's Manyam region. Eschewing grand stages, hoardings, and loud music, the celebrations unfolded amidst lush green surroundings, with a focus on assessing progress and planning future initiatives for tribal welfare.

Grassroots Engagement in Alluri Sitarama Raju District

The anniversary events were held across remote tribal villages in the Alluri Sitarama Raju (ASR) district, particularly in the Paderu constituency, utilizing newly constructed roads as venues. As part of the Adavi Thalli Bata programme, Pawan Kalyan conducted thorough inspections of infrastructure projects, including roads and drinking water taps established under the Jal Jeevan Mission.

He visited tribal hamlets, engaging directly with residents to understand their challenges and suggesting immediate measures to officials for enhancing amenities and employment opportunities. Through the Maata Manthi programme, he fostered close interactions with agency residents, with villages like Onuru and Nandigaruvu in the Paderu Assembly constituency hosting these significant gatherings.

Development Initiatives and Eco-Tourism Plans

Pawan Kalyan, who advocated for village-level anniversary celebrations, hoisted a new flagpole at Onuru Junction and extended greetings to party cadres, thanking all contributors to the party's strength. He proposed innovative solutions for tribal economic upliftment, suggesting that officials plant fruit-bearing trees such as jackfruit and custard apple along newly built roads under the Adavi Thalli Bata initiative to generate additional income for families.

Furthermore, he directed officials to develop comprehensive plans for eco-tourism by establishing bamboo cottages in the Kondavallu areas and transforming scenic tribal viewpoints into homestays and film-shooting locations. He also recommended providing special training for tribal youth to secure employment in private security firms, broadening their career prospects.

Infrastructure Inspection and Immediate Action

Later, Pawan Kalyan walked along and inspected the newly constructed 2.4 km road from Onuru Junction to Nandigaruvu, built under the PM Jan Man scheme at a cost of Rs 1.70 crore. Impressed by the construction quality of the BT road, he was informed by officials that eight culverts were integrated along the stretch to ensure durability and accessibility.

Tribal residents warmly welcomed the Deputy Chief Minister, expressing gratitude for the new road and clean drinking water provided under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Villagers from Kothapolam, situated between Onuru and Nandigaruvu, met with Pawan Kalyan, submitting a petition requesting a road, drinking water facilities, and a school building for their village.

Responding promptly, he contacted senior officials and instructed them to expedite the required facilities. He disclosed that ₹6.90 lakh had already been sanctioned for drinking water facilities in Kothapolam, identified as one of the 3,000 most water-scarce villages. A road was sanctioned under the VBG Ram G Pathakam, with Pawan Kalyan assuring villagers that all their issues would be resolved efficiently.

Party PAC chairman and Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar actively participated in the programme, underscoring the collective commitment to tribal development. This anniversary celebration highlighted a shift towards substantive, on-ground engagement, prioritizing the needs of marginalized communities over ceremonial pomp.
