Key Candidates and Their Constituencies

This marks a notable entry for her into electoral politics, highlighting the party's focus on leveraging influential figures. Meanwhile, Thilagabhama, serving as the party treasurer, will contest from Perambur, where she is set to take on TVK president Vijay, adding a competitive edge to the race.
Other significant women candidates include Tamizharasi Adhimoolam, the state secretary of the party's women's wing, who has been nominated for Vridhachalam. This move underscores PMK's commitment to promoting gender diversity and empowering women within its ranks.
Retention of Sitting MLAs and Experienced Leaders
To ensure continuity and stability, PMK has retained several sitting MLAs in crucial constituencies. S Sadhasivam will defend his seat in Salem North, while C Sivakumar has been re-nominated for Vikravandi. These appointments reflect the party's reliance on its internal leadership to drive electoral success.
