Newly appointed Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Kewal Singh Dhillon called on party national president Nitin Nabin in New Delhi on Friday. Dhillon stated that he would take along every section of the party and work in close coordination with state leaders, office-bearers, and workers across Punjab. He emphasized the need for unity and collective effort to strengthen the party's presence in the state.
Booth-Level Strengthening
He said intensive efforts would be made in the coming days to fortify the party's organization right down to the booth level across Punjab. This grassroots approach is aimed at ensuring a robust network and effective outreach to voters.
Confidence in 2027 Victory
Dhillon expressed confidence that the BJP would emerge as a strong political force in the state and form its own government in Punjab after the assembly elections scheduled for February 2027. He outlined a roadmap to achieve this goal through sustained engagement with farmers, youth, and other key demographics.
