Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Sunil Jakhar has firmly stated that the people of Punjab will not bow down to any fear tactics. Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh, Jakhar emphasized the resilience and unity of Punjabis in the face of intimidation. He asserted that attempts to create fear would not succeed, as the state's populace is known for its courage and determination.
Stand Against Intimidation
Jakhar condemned the use of fear as a political tool, stating that such methods are against the democratic ethos of the state. He highlighted that Punjab has a history of standing up against oppression and that the current attempts to intimidate are no different. The BJP chief urged party workers and citizens to remain vigilant and not be swayed by threats.
Unity and Resilience
The BJP president called for unity among all sections of society to counter any divisive forces. He stressed that the party is committed to the welfare of Punjab and will work tirelessly to ensure peace and progress. Jakhar also lauded the efforts of security forces in maintaining law and order, but warned against any complacency.
In his address, Jakhar reiterated the BJP's vision for Punjab, focusing on development, security, and prosperity. He urged the youth to participate actively in the democratic process and reject any form of coercion. The party, he said, is prepared to face any challenges and will continue to serve the people with dedication.
Jakhar's remarks come amid heightened political tensions in the state, with several parties accusing each other of using strong-arm tactics. The BJP chief's statement is seen as a clear message that the party will not be intimidated and will fight for the rights of Punjabis.
