Rajasthan Sub-Inspector Exam 2025 Concludes with Moderate Turnout Across State
The Rajasthan Sub-Inspector (SI) Exam 2025 was conducted on Sunday, witnessing a participation rate of approximately 60% across 26 districts in the state. According to the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), the examination was held in two sessions, with overall attendance reflecting a steady but not overwhelming response from candidates.
Attendance Statistics Highlight Regional Variations
Detailed figures released by the RPSC indicate that the first session of the exam saw an attendance of 60.4%, while the second session recorded 59.9%. Out of the total 3.8 lakh candidates scheduled to appear, over 2.3 lakh participated in the initial paper. In the second session, 55.5% of candidates were present, with 372 individuals marked absent for the second paper.
Regional disparities in turnout were notable, with Churu district achieving the highest attendance at 71.2%, closely followed by Banswara at 70.7%. In contrast, Ajmer reported the lowest turnout at 54.4%, and Jaipur recorded a modest 55.9% attendance. These variations may be attributed to local factors such as candidate preparedness and logistical arrangements.
Exam Structure and Security Measures
The first paper of the Rajasthan SI Exam focused on general Hindi, testing language proficiency, while the second paper covered general knowledge and general science, assessing broader awareness and analytical skills. To ensure the integrity of the process, the RPSC implemented rigorous security protocols.
RPSC Secretary Ramnivas Mehta personally inspected multiple examination centers in Ajmer, including Rajkiya Uchch Madhyamik Vidyalaya Police Line, Jawahar Uchch Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Khwaja Model School, and Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya (Savitri College). During his visits, he reviewed security arrangements and emphasized the importance of strict identity verification using QR codes and watermarks on admit cards. Mehta warned staff against any negligence, underscoring the commission's commitment to a fair and transparent examination process.
No Malpractice Reported, Ensuring Exam Credibility
In a positive development, the RPSC confirmed that no cases of cheating or malpractice were reported during the Rajasthan SI Exam 2025. This outcome highlights the effectiveness of the security measures and the adherence to protocols by both candidates and officials. The commission's proactive approach, including the use of advanced verification technologies, played a crucial role in maintaining the exam's credibility.
The successful conduct of the exam marks a significant step in the recruitment process for sub-inspectors in Rajasthan, with results expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Candidates are advised to stay updated through official RPSC channels for further announcements and merit lists.
