Ranchi MLA Commends RPF Team for Heroic Rescue at Railway Station

In a heartening display of recognition for bravery, Ranchi's local MLA C P Singh has publicly felicitated a team of Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel for their swift and courageous actions in saving a man from a life-threatening situation. The incident, which unfolded on March 14 at Ranchi railway station, saw the RPF team prevent a potential tragedy when a man attempted to end his life by jumping in front of a train from an overbridge on platform 2.

Details of the Daring Rescue Operation

According to official statements released on Monday, the RPF team, under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Sooraj Pandey, sprang into action immediately after the man leaped from the overbridge. In a perilous turn of events, the individual came into contact with a high-tension wire, resulting in a fire. Demonstrating exceptional presence of mind and training, Pandey successfully extinguished the flames and safely brought the man down from the hazardous area.

The rescued individual was promptly rushed to Guru Nanak Hospital for urgent medical attention. Hospital authorities have since reported that the man is in a stable condition, highlighting the effectiveness of the RPF's timely intervention.
