RLD forms booth-level committees across UP

Lucknow: Aiming to restructure its organization in Uttar Pradesh at the grassroots level, the Jayant Chaudhary-led Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) on Friday announced that booth-level committees comprising seven to eight active members would soon be formed across the state. This initiative is intended to strengthen the party's presence at the local level.

The decision was taken during the national executive meeting of the party held in New Delhi. In a statement, the RLD said the meeting focused on future strategy, organizational expansion, farmer welfare, rural development, and social justice. The leadership also emphasized the need to increase women's participation within the party organization.

The national executive discussed the formation of a Central Parliamentary Board. The responsibility for constituting and operating the board was entrusted to party chief Jayant Chaudhary.

RLD national secretary Anupam Mishra said the party decided to reorganize the 'Chaudhary Charan Singh Vichar Manch' to promote the ideology and legacy of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh among the younger generation.

The party further announced plans to organize training camps for youth workers. These camps will focus on organizational skills, party ideology, political communication, and leadership development.

Marking the 125th birth anniversary year of Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh, the RLD said it would organize year-long programs across the state to highlight his farmer-centric policies and ideological contributions.
