RPSC Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam 2025 Records Strong Second-Day Attendance
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has reported a robust turnout for the Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment exam 2025, with attendance remaining above the 60% mark on the second day of testing. Held across Monday's two sessions, the examination saw thousands of aspirants participate peacefully in 26 districts throughout the state.
Detailed Session-Wise Attendance Figures
In the first session, scheduled from 11 AM to 1 PM and focusing on general Hindi, a total of 61.56% of registered candidates appeared. The second session, conducted from 3 PM to 5 PM and covering general knowledge along with general science, witnessed a slightly lower but still impressive turnout of 61.12%. Notably, 1,690 candidates who were present in the morning session were absent for the afternoon session, indicating some drop-off between the two parts of the exam.
District-Wise Performance Highlights
Dholpur emerged as the top-performing district, recording the highest attendance rates at 73.86% in the first session and 73.66% in the second. In contrast, Jaipur, the state capital, saw lower participation with 56.3% in the first session and 55.89% in the second. Six districts—Jaipur, Ajmer, Hanumangarh, Udaipur, Sikar, and Jhunjhunu—recorded attendance figures below the 60% threshold, highlighting regional variations in candidate engagement.
Large-Scale Examination Conducted Smoothly
RPSC Secretary Ramniwas Mehta emphasized that the successful execution of this massive examination, which attracted over 7.7 lakh registered candidates, was made possible through the collaborative efforts of district administrations, police forces, and the education department. "The conduct of such a large-scale exam was not possible without the help of district administrations, police, and education department," Mehta stated, acknowledging the logistical and security support provided.
The two-day recruitment drive for Sub Inspector positions has demonstrated significant public interest, with overall turnout reflecting a competitive yet orderly process. As the RPSC moves forward with evaluation, these attendance figures will play a crucial role in determining the selection outcomes for one of Rajasthan's key law enforcement recruitment initiatives.
