Stray Bull Creates Security Scare at CM Nitish Kumar's Helipad in Begusarai

Security personnel faced a highly unusual and tense situation just before the scheduled landing of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's helicopter on Saturday at the BIADA premises in Begusarai. A stray bull managed to breach the meticulously prepared high-security ring established for the CM's program, reaching dangerously close to the designated helipad area.

Chaos and Panic Erupt Before Chief Minister's Arrival

This unexpected intrusion triggered immediate chaos and significant panic among the police personnel stationed at the location. The timing was particularly critical, as the chopper carrying the chief minister was due to land shortly after the incident unfolded. Officers on duty initially attempted to shoo away the animal by brandishing bamboo poles, a standard method for managing such situations.

However, the bull refused to budge from its position near the helipad. As police appeared momentarily clueless about effectively handling the large animal, they intensified their efforts with the bamboo poles to clear the vital area. This strategy unfortunately backfired spectacularly.

Dramatic Chase and Security Personnel Forced to Flee

The bull, agitated by the attempts to move it, ran menacingly towards the security personnel. This aggressive charge forced the guards on duty to abandon their posts and run for safety. Many officers took shelter behind a parked fire tender and an ambulance to avoid a potential attack from the animal. The situation remained volatile for several minutes as the bull roamed freely within the restricted zone, which was supposed to be completely secure.

It was only after a brief period that the animal eventually calmed down. Authorities then utilized the blaring sound of the ambulance siren to finally clear the bull from the helipad area. Officials later stated that the helipad had been secured well in advance with bamboo barricades, and only authorized persons were permitted entry, making the bull's breach all the more alarming.

Political Workers Raise Serious Security Concerns

NDA workers present at the event expressed deep concern over the incident. They stated that the entry of a stray animal into such a highly restricted zone raised serious questions about potential security lapses during the chief minister's visit. A JD(U) worker emphasized, "It was completely unexpected and posed a serious security threat when the chief minister's helicopter was to land only a little later." Several NDA leaders had already assembled on the dais when this dramatic security scare unfolded.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was visiting Begusarai and Sheikhpura districts during the concluding phase of his "Samriddhi Yatra" on Saturday. The incident, while resolved without physical harm, highlighted the unpredictable challenges security forces can face, even with thorough preparations.
