Hyderabad: Telangana Congress president B Mahesh Kumar Goud on Wednesday alleged that the name of either BRS working president KT Rama Rao or the family members of K Chandrasekhar Rao is alleged in every major controversy in the state, right from passport scams to land grabbing and corruption.
Congress leader slams KTR
Addressing a media conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Mahesh Goud slammed KTR for criticising AICC leader Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. "KTR does not have the locus standi and credibility to criticise leaders like Rahul Gandhi. KTR had entered the Telangana statehood movement through the back door while betraying grassroots leaders like KK Mahender Reddy," alleged the TPCC president.
Allegations of alcohol and drug culture
"There was a rise in the culture of alcohol and drug consumption during the previous government's term. KTR's aggressive rhetoric is raising suspicion and we demand that he undergo drug testing," Mahesh Goud alleged.
Demand for CBI probe
BJP MP Bandi Sanjay should tell the people why the CBI is not starting investigating into the Kaleshwaram project case, he added.
