Hyderabad: Telangana Congress president B Mahesh Kumar Goud on Saturday stated that the names of aspirants for the working presidents' posts have already been submitted to the All India Congress Committee (AICC), which is expected to make a final decision shortly.
Cabinet Expansion Not My Concern
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, Goud clarified that he would have no involvement in any cabinet expansion. "The chief minister will take care of cabinet expansion if any. I will have no involvement in that," he said.
Criticism of BRS and Future City Project
Goud slammed BRS MLA T Harish Rao for attempting to create fear among the public regarding the Future City project. He asserted that the Future City would serve as a guiding light for the entire nation. "The BRS lacks foresight. During their two terms, they failed to expand the limits of Hyderabad. Development occurs when the city expands," he remarked.
Allegations Against Central Government
The Congress leader accused the central government of displaying a step-motherly attitude towards Telangana. He noted that the state Congress government is continuing the welfare schemes implemented during the previous BRS government.
