Telangana Congress Slams Pawan Kalyan Over NEET Silence

Hyderabad: Telangana Congress general secretary Chanagani Dayakar on Wednesday questioned why Pawan Kalyan had remained silent on the alleged NEET examination paper leak. “Does the future of 22 lakh students have no value for Pawan Kalyan? Is he interested only in stirring sentiments between the two states? Pawan Kalyan should remember that he is the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and not a paid artist. It would be better if he did not meddle with the sentiments of the people of Telangana,” Dayakar alleged while addressing a media conference.

Respect but Misguided

Stating that he respects Pawan Kalyan, Dayakar said the Jana Sena Party leader appeared to have been misguided. He said Pawan Kalyan should realise that interfering in Telangana’s affairs could damage his image in the state.

Political Allegations

“The people of Telangana fought hard and many sacrificed their lives to achieve statehood. Pawan Kalyan should not speak beyond his stature. He is being used by the BJP to further its political agenda in Telangana. He has become a tool serving the interests of the BJP, Amit Shah and Narendra Modi,” Dayakar alleged.
