The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has initiated a significant recruitment drive to fill 198 Supervisor Trainee positions within the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC). Eligibility Criteria: Age and Educational Qualifications

In a significant move, the Telangana government has approved an upper age relaxation of up to 12 years for various categories, over and above the standard limits.
The educational requirements differ for each post. For the Traffic Supervisor Trainee role, applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university or UGC-accredited institution. Candidates possessing higher qualifications are also deemed eligible.
For the Mechanical Supervisor Trainee position, the essential qualification is a Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from the Telangana Department of Technical Education or an equivalent qualification. Those with advanced degrees like BE, B.Tech, or AMIE in the relevant disciplines can also apply.
Special Quota for Departmental Candidates and Fee Structure
The notification includes a dedicated pathway for existing TGSRTC employees. Departmental candidates who have the prescribed qualifications and have completed five years of regular service with approved probation as on December 25, 2025, are eligible to apply under this special category.
The application fee structure is designed to be inclusive. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and local candidates of Telangana are required to pay Rs 400. For all other applicants, the fee is set at Rs 800 for each post applied for.
