Hyderabad is set to witness a spectacular aerial spectacle as the Telangana government prepares to create history with a massive drone show during the finale of the Telangana Rising Global Summit. The event scheduled for December 9 at Bharat Future City will feature an unprecedented display using 3,000 synchronized drones.
Record-Breaking Ambitions in the Sky
The state government aims to secure the Guinness World Record for the world's longest aerial sentence with this ambitious display. The drones equipped with LED lights will form the message 'Telangana is Rising. Come, Join the Rise' mid-sky, creating a visual marvel for spectators.
This attempt is designed to surpass the existing record of 'Happy New Year 2025' created using 2,131 drones in Abu Dhabi. Officials from the Chief Minister's Office have confirmed that the show serves as a visual tribute to Telangana's transformative blueprint under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
Vision for Economic Transformation
The drone spectacle will illustrate Telangana's comprehensive development strategy, including the three-zone economic model that comprises:
- Core Urban Region Economy (CURE)
- Peri-Urban Region Economy (PURE)
- Rural Agricultural Region Economy (RARE)
Additionally, the display will feature the proposed Metro Rail expansion route map and showcase the state government's plans for mobility, urban connectivity, and infrastructure development. Women empowerment initiatives will also form part of the aerial presentation.
Agricultural Roadmap to 2047
Meanwhile, Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao has directed senior officials to finalize the "Telangana Agriculture – 2047 Agri Chapter" for inclusion in the Telangana Rising vision document. Senior officials and experts from agriculture, horticulture, research, and marketing institutions are actively participating in this preparation.
Minister Rao stressed the need for balanced development in the agriculture sector to support the government's goal of making Telangana a $3 trillion economy by 2047. He emphasized the importance of farmer-centric plans, increasing farmer income, quality in productivity, and technology adoption in agriculture.
The minister highlighted that Telangana possesses immense opportunities for agricultural research and extension activities, which should be elevated to global standards. He called for widespread promotion of modern methods including:
- Increased crop productivity and diversification
