Two separate road accidents in Buxar district on Tuesday led to the tragic deaths of two individuals, underscoring ongoing concerns about road safety in the region. Fatal Car Accident on Ara-Buxar Highway

In the first incident, a 43-year-old woman, identified as Neetu Kumari, lost her life in a severe car accident on the Ara-Buxar highway near Ramgarh, under the jurisdiction of the Brahampur police station. The accident occurred when the car, driven by her husband Vineet Kumar, went out of control due to overspeeding, hit a divider, and overturned. Vineet Kumar, an assistant manager with Union Bank of India in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, was traveling to Patna with his family to observe Ambedkar Jayanti.

The impact of the crash was devastating, leaving the vehicle badly damaged and resulting in Neetu Kumari's death at the scene. Her husband and their son, Devansh Patel, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the community health centre in Brahmpur, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Local residents quickly responded to the accident, assisting in pulling the injured from the wreckage and facilitating their transport to medical care.

Police have seized the vehicle and sent the body for a postmortem examination as part of the ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.

Motorcyclist Killed by Speeding Truck in Simri

In a separate incident near Manjhwari village More, under the Simri police station area, a 25-year-old motorcyclist, Ali Hussain, was killed on the spot after being run over by a speeding truck. Ali Hussain, a resident of Takia Mohalla in Simri Dudhipatti, was returning from his elder brother's wedding in Gajrajganj, Ara, when the tragedy struck.

Eyewitnesses reported that the truck, coming from the opposite direction, collided with the motorcycle, throwing Ali Hussain onto the road and causing critical injuries. A pillion rider on the motorcycle sustained minor injuries in the accident. Ali Hussain was immediately taken to Sadar Hospital in Buxar, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Simri Station House Officer Jyoti Kumari confirmed that the truck has been seized, and legal action is being initiated against the driver involved in the incident. The police are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact circumstances leading to the collision.
