Udhayanidhi Stalin Accuses AIADMK of Being BJP's Slave in Erode Speech
Udhayanidhi Stalin Slams AIADMK-BJP Alliance in Tamil Nadu

Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin delivered a fiery speech in Erode on Sunday, making significant allegations about the relationship between AIADMK and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Speaking at a state conference on social justice organized by Puthiya Dravida Kazhagam in Elumathur, Stalin launched a multi-pronged attack on both the opposition party and the central government.

Political Allegations and Party Switching Claims

Udhayanidhi Stalin made striking claims about former AIADMK leader Sengottaiyan's political movements. The Deputy CM asserted that Sengottaiyan had shifted his affiliation from AIADMK to TVK based on Union Home Minister Amit Shah's direct suggestion. However, he clarified that this didn't represent an actual party change but rather a transition to a different branch within the same political framework.

"Sengottaiyan hasn't actually changed parties yet. He has merely transitioned to a different branch of the same party," Stalin stated during his address to the gathered audience at the social justice conference.

Attacks on AIADMK and BJP Relationship

The Deputy Chief Minister didn't hold back in his criticism of the AIADMK's current political stance. He accused the party of forgetting its Dravidian roots and the legacies of both MGR and Periyar. Stalin went further to suggest that the party had even forgotten the significance of the word 'Dravidian' in its own name.

In one of his most pointed remarks, Stalin claimed there was an internal competition within AIADMK about who could be the "best slave" to Amit Shah. He suggested that the party should consider moving its headquarters to Delhi since important decisions about party membership and affiliations were being made by the Delhi leadership rather than in Tamil Nadu.

Confidence in DMK's Electoral Prospects

Despite acknowledging BJP's attempts to woo backward and reserved classes who previously voted for DMK, Udhayanidhi Stalin expressed strong confidence in his party's electoral prospects. He emphatically stated that nobody could prevent DMK from winning the next assembly election in Tamil Nadu.

The Deputy CM also addressed the role of Governor R N Ravi, accusing him of creating discord within the state's political landscape. He revealed that Chief Minister M K Stalin had promised to suppress what he described as the governor's arrogance, indicating ongoing tensions between the state government and the governor's office.

Stalin's speech highlighted the continuing political tensions in Tamil Nadu while positioning DMK as the true protector of Dravidian values and social justice principles in the state.
