Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to ensure mass participation in events commemorating 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led central government. The directives were issued during a review meeting held on Wednesday.
Plantation Drive Under 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'
Adityanath specifically instructed officials to plant at least five crore saplings under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign on June 5. He emphasized the need for geo-tagging and protection of these saplings to ensure their survival and growth.
Focus on Environmental Conservation
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and urged citizens to actively participate in the plantation drive. He stated that such initiatives not only contribute to a greener environment but also strengthen the bond between people and nature.
Mass Mobilization Efforts
Officials have been tasked with mobilizing local communities, schools, colleges, and government departments to achieve the ambitious target. Awareness campaigns will be conducted to encourage voluntary participation across the state.
Adityanath also reviewed progress on various other development projects and stressed the need for timely completion. He reiterated the government's commitment to inclusive growth and public welfare.
