UP MLA Proposes Women-Led Industrial Policy for State Growth

Sarojininagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh has proposed a dedicated 'Mukhyamantri Nari Shakti Industrial Promotion Policy' to position Uttar Pradesh as a women-led industrial growth model. This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of women empowerment and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's governance framework.

Proposal Highlights

Singh stated that Uttar Pradesh has made notable progress in improving women's safety, dignity, and participation. He emphasized that the time has come to make women a central force in economic growth. The proposal includes special incentives for industries that employ at least 75% women or operate as fully women-led enterprises.

Alignment with National Schemes

Singh cited national schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. He suggested that convergence with state policies could accelerate inclusive industrialization.
