Virtual Queue System for Guruvayur Temple

Thrissur: Devaswom minister K Muraleedharan, who attended a meeting to review the development projects in Guruvayur on Monday, said a virtual queue system on the lines of Sabarimala will be implemented in Guruvayur temple soon. A master plan for the integrated development of the temple town will be implemented. The land acquisition for the implementation of the master plan will be completed in nine months, the minister said.

No Separate Probe for Padmakumar Disclosures

Meanwhile, home minister Ramesh Chennithala said that there was no need for a separate probe into the reported disclosures of former president of Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) and CPM functionary A Padmakumar on various issues related to Sabarimala. Padmakumar is the first accused in the Sabarimala gold scam, and if he makes any fresh revelation, the SIT can probe it, Chennithala said.

Criticism of Vice-Chancellors' Participation

Both Muraleedharan and Chennithala criticised the participation of the vice-chancellors in the RSS event. They said the VCs should not participate in political or religious platforms.
