Varanasi: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his brief visit to the city on Wednesday morning, offered prayers at Kashi Vishwanath and Kaal Bhairav temples. The CM's chopper landed at the Police Lines ground, after which he proceeded to the temples by road. Local MLA Neelkanth Tiwari welcomed him at the Kashi Vishwanath Dham campus with a ceremonial dupatta. The CM then performed rituals at the sanctum sanctorum.
Visit to Kaal Bhairav Temple
He later visited the Kaal Bhairav temple, where he performed Aarti. While leaving the temple premises, the CM paused at a nearby shop after noticing a toddler in the lap of a woman trader. He briefly interacted and played with the child.
Wedding Congratulation Visit
Yogi also visited the residence of academician Rajeev Krishna of Uday Pratap College at Chandmari in Bada Lalpur, where he congratulated the family on the occasion of his son's wedding.
State ministers Anil Rajbhar, Ravindra Jaiswal and Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, along with MLCs Hansraj Vishwakarma and Dharmendra Singh, and MLAs Saurabh Shrivastava and Awadhesh Singh were present during the CM's visit. After a stay of nearly an hour in the city, the CM departed for Prayagraj.
