Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered a powerful address during an event marking the anniversary of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, blending cultural assertion with political messaging. He stated that while the holy city faced numerous conspiracies, the eternal principles of Sanatan Dharma ultimately triumphed.
Sanatan Dharma Stands Above All: CM's Assertion
Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized that Sanatan Dharma stands above all temporal power structures. He asserted that some forces had historically conspired against Ayodhya, but they could not succeed against the city's divine sanctity and the faith of millions. Ayodhya, he declared, remains a global symbol of faith, resilience, and the unbroken continuity of Sanatan tradition.
PM Modi's Trio of Visits Erased Centuries of Struggle
The Chief Minister specifically highlighted three landmark visits by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Ayodhya, crediting them with reshaping the city's destiny. He recalled the foundation stone-laying ceremony in 2020, the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony in 2024, and the hoisting of the Sanatan flag atop the temple later in 2024.
According to Yogi Adityanath, these pivotal events were not merely ceremonial. He stated that they collectively erased centuries of struggle and restored Ayodhya's spiritual dignity on the world stage. This narrative positioned the current developments as the culmination of a long historical and religious journey.
Criticism of Past Regimes and Divine Protection
In a clear critique of previous administrations, the UP CM accused them of neglecting Ayodhya's development and allowing attempts to destabilize the sacred city. He contrasted this with the current focus on the city's transformation. Yogi Adityanath concluded with a message of divine assurance, stating that Ayodhya is divinely protected and its significance as a pillar of Sanatan Dharma is now firmly re-established for India and the world to see.
