Mysuru: Karnataka's rising golf star Anvitha Narendra captured her second professional title by winning the Hero Women's Pro Tour 2026 in a thrilling play-off against seasoned campaigner Vani Kapoor at the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club (JWGC) in Mysuru.
Tournament Performance
Anvitha finished the three-round tournament with an aggregate score of 209, returning cards of 72, 68 and 69. She ended regulation play tied with Vani Kapoor, setting up a tense play-off that extended to five extra holes. Demonstrating remarkable composure under pressure, Anvitha sealed the title with a birdie on the fifth play-off hole.
Winner's Reaction
Speaking after her victory, Anvitha described the win as special. “This feels like my second home. My friends are here, and being so close to Bengaluru and Karnataka makes this victory meaningful,” she said.

The prize distribution ceremony was attended by JWGC president HS Arun Kumar, captain MS Yeshwanth, tournament committee chairman Phalguna V Urs and other office-bearers.
