Indore: Anubhuti Agrawal, a student of Delhi Public School Indore, has emerged as one of the highest scorers in the state in the CBSE Class 12 examinations, securing an impressive 99.2 percent in the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) stream. The results were officially announced on Wednesday, bringing joy to the young achiever and her family.
Unexpected Achievement
Despite her outstanding performance, Anubhuti admitted that she had not anticipated such high marks. 'I was shocked when I saw the result. It took some time for the feeling to sink in. My parents were equally surprised and happy,' she told TOI. She added that she would have been content even with a 95 percent score, making the outcome all the more delightful.
Self-Study and Balance
The daughter of an engineer father and a doctor mother, Anubhuti prepared for the board exams without attending any coaching classes. Her success stemmed from consistent self-study and regular revision. She emphasized the importance of maintaining balance during preparation, noting that taking small breaks from studying helped her stay relaxed and avoid unnecessary pressure.
Mixed Emotions Amid NEET Uncertainty
However, the celebrations were tempered by uncertainty regarding her medical aspirations. Anubhuti had appeared for the NEET-UG examination on May 3, but the test was cancelled on Tuesday. This development left her experiencing two contrasting emotions within a single day: the joy of an exceptional Class 12 result and the disappointment of facing renewed uncertainty over the medical entrance examination.
As she navigates this challenging period, Anubhuti remains hopeful and determined to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. Her story serves as an inspiration to students who rely on self-discipline and hard work to achieve academic excellence.
