The third season of the Khel Karate School Games, a grand national-level karate competition, was successfully held at Gyan Vihar School in Jaipur over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday. This prestigious event attracted participation from more than 100 schools representing over 16 states across India, highlighting the widespread enthusiasm for martial arts among young students.
National Participation and Event Highlights
The competition showcased exceptional talent from various regions, with students demonstrating their skills in a spirit of sportsmanship and discipline. The event was meticulously organized under the leadership of Dhananjay Tyagi, ensuring that all proceedings were conducted with dignity and fairness. The closing ceremony was a highlight, where prizes totaling Rs 350,000 were distributed to the winning players, along with trophies, medals, and certificates to recognize their achievements.
Team and Coach Awards
During the ceremony, Akash Singh, the president of the organizing committee, and Mohit Sharma, the secretary, announced the results of the team championship. JSC Senior Secondary School from Jobner secured the first place, followed by IMAA Academy Jaipur in second place and Knowledge City School Alwar in third. In the best coach category, Gautam Singh from Delhi received the top honor for his outstanding contribution, with Deepak Saini from Alwar taking second place and Rajni Bhansali from Bhilwara coming in third.
Super Gold Category Winners
The Super Gold category featured impressive performances across different age groups. In the boys' division, the winners were Aarush Das (Under-7), Atulya Dwivedi (Under-8), Vihaan Jain (Under-10), Devansh Singh (Under-12), Devam Trivedi (Under-14), Kartik Yadav (Under-16), and Pawan Jangid (Senior Open). For the girls' division, the Super Gold titles were claimed by Veditya Rathore (Under-8), Nainika Nath (Under-10), Zeel Choksi (Under-12), Garima Balotia (Under-14), Shreya Patil (Under-19), and Khushboo Panwar (Senior Open).
