Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi declared on Sunday that the state will not only be recognized as an excellent host but also as a regular producer of world-class champions. He made these remarks during the two-day 'chintan shivir' organized by the Sports and Youth Services Department.

Majhi emphasized that sports extend beyond medals, records, victories, or defeats. He stated that sports instill discipline, teamwork, and patience in individuals. The event saw participation from national and international sports experts, administrators, and athletes, who shared their insights on developing sports infrastructure and talent in Odisha.
