The Rajasthan Regals have officially been crowned champions of the inaugural edition of the Professional Golf Tour of India's (PGTI) 72 The League. A celebratory event was held in New Delhi to honor their victory, attended by key figures from the golfing community and league organizers.
Vision for Growth and Expansion
During the celebration, League Commissioner Amrit Mathur revealed that an enhanced second edition of the league will be announced shortly. This move underscores the organizers' commitment to building on the success of the launch season and taking the competition to new heights.
PGTI President Kapil Dev emphasized the significance of this achievement, stating, "A lot of work has gone into getting the league off the ground successfully, but a lot still remains to be done. This is a promising beginning and an important step for the growth of professional golf in India."

Amandeep Johl, CEO of PGTI, shared ambitious long-term plans for the league. He said, "Our vision is to take this league to the Ryder Cup level over time. The inaugural edition has laid the foundation, and we now want to build a stronger, bigger, and more impactful property in the years ahead."

The evening was hosted by team owners Sonali Jain and Hemant Jain of the KLJ Group, following the Rajasthan Regals' championship win.
