Rajasthan University Wushu Team Wins Eight Medals

Jaipur: The Rajasthan University wushu team delivered an outstanding performance at the All India Inter-University Wushu (Men and Women) Championship, securing a total of eight medals, including five silver medals. The championship was recently organized by Kashmir University.

Medal Winners

According to a press release issued by Dr. Pratibha Singh Ratnu, Secretary of the Rajasthan University Sports Board, the following athletes clinched silver medals: Bhanu Pratap Pareek (kiyanshu), Tanisha Mahavar (changquan), Mahima Choudhary (traditional non type), Gourang Saini (wing chun), and Vaidehi Pareek (flexible weapon).

Vaidehi Pareek added to her success by winning a bronze medal in the traditional non type category, marking her second medal of the championship. Additionally, Piyush Mehra (taijiquan) and Pooja (sanda) each secured a bronze medal, further boosting the team's tally.
