The under-14 kho kho team from the Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Valasaiyur, Salem, has achieved a remarkable feat by topping the district-level competition. This victory has earned them the prestigious opportunity to represent Salem at the upcoming state-level kho kho championships, showcasing their athletic prowess and dedication to the sport.

In a show of strong support, the school's headmaster, P Jeyalendiran, and teacher R Manivannan have personally sponsored the team's jerseys for the state-level tournament. The jerseys were officially distributed during a special event held at the school on Thursday, where Jeyalendiran expressed immense pride in the team's accomplishments, highlighting it as a proud moment for both the players and the entire school community.
