The second day of the Junior and Senior Artistic Gymnastics National Championship at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar featured high-intensity performances and notable achievements in the Senior Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) category, underscoring the expanding talent pool in Indian gymnastics.
All-Around Champion
Representing Odisha, Tapan Mohanty emerged as the all-around champion in the Senior MAG category with an outstanding score of 73.433. He delivered consistent and technically strong routines across all apparatus. His victory is a significant milestone for the host state and highlights Odisha's growing prominence in gymnastics.
Podium Finishers
Yogeshwar Singh of Haryana secured the second position with a score of 72.667, while Shreyas Choudhari finished third with 71.467, completing a highly competitive podium lineup.
Team Championship Qualification
Adding to the host contingent's success, Odisha qualified for the Senior MAG Team Championship Final, further reinforcing its strong performance at the national level.
