The two-day Women's Beach Handball Competition, organized under the aegis of the UP Adventure Sports Club, commenced on Tuesday in Varanasi with exciting matches on the opening day. The event showcased competitive spirit and skill among participating teams.

Vikas Club Secures Narrow Victory Over Lal Bahadur Shastri Club

In the inaugural match, Vikas Club edged past Lal Bahadur Shastri Club with a close 10-8 victory. The contest remained evenly poised at 4-4 at halftime, but Vikas Club gained the upper hand in the second half. National player Suramya Pathak sealed the win with a crucial free-throw goal just four minutes before the final whistle.
