The district-level badminton tournament organized at the Jaipur Sports Academy in Hanuman Nagar witnessed outstanding performances, particularly from the Tank sisters -- Geetakshi and Shagun. The prize distribution ceremony was held with great enthusiasm, with Manoj Dasot, vice-president of the Rajasthan Badminton Association, and Chaudhary Sher Singh, Director of the Pick and Kick Academy, serving as chief guests. They honored the winning players by presenting trophies, medals, and certificates.

Outstanding Performances by Tank Sisters

The Tank sisters delivered brilliant performances throughout the competition. In the Under-11 girls singles category, Geetakshi Tank clinched the gold medal by defeating Yatika Chopra in the final with scores of 21-16, 21-18. Ahana Kalra and Advika Yadav secured bronze medals in this category.

In the Under-13 girls singles, Shagun Tank emerged victorious, grabbing the gold medal by defeating her own sister Geetakshi Tank with a score of 21-15, 21-17. Avantika and Ahana Maderna claimed the bronze medals in this category.

Boys Singles Results

In the Under-11 boys singles, Kushang Jain captured the gold medal by defeating Atharva Tyagi, while Shaurya Singh Naruka won the bronze medal. In the Under-15 boys singles, Rishit emerged as the champion by defeating Ranvijay. Kushang Jain and Prabal Pratap Singh Naruka were the semi-finalists in this category.

Men's Doubles and Veterans Category

In a thrilling men's doubles final, the pair of Vatsal Rathore and Vikas Shah edged past Yashvardhan and Vinay Sevda to claim the championship. In the veterans' category, Mukesh Pandit and Amit Poonia emerged as the winners.

Special Awards and Closing Ceremony

Navya, Aarav, Janak, and Asad were honored with the 'Best Player Award' at the event. During the closing ceremony, Academy head coach Atul Gupta expressed gratitude to all the guests, players, and parents for their support. Academy coaches Ayanu Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Pratik, and manager Jitendra Sharma were welcomed with garlands.
