BCA Secretary Ziaul Arfeen revealed that three players from Bihar are currently associated with IPL franchises: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi with Rajasthan Royals, Saqib Hussain with Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Mohammad Izhar with Mumbai Indians. He added that these players are delivering consistent performances and making substantial contributions to their respective teams. Additionally, several other cricketers from Bihar are serving as net bowlers for various IPL franchises.

Arfeen further acknowledged the contributions of former BCA President Rakesh Kumar Tiwari, former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, current Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, cabinet members, and senior administrative officials in the growth of Bihar cricket.
