Kanpur witnessed exciting cricket action as Crick IT Academy stormed into the final of the first Sunil Tiwari Memorial Inter Academy Cricket League by defeating KDMA Academy by 103 runs at the Kanpur South B ground on Wednesday.
Crick IT Academy Dominates
Batting first, Crick IT Academy posted a formidable total of 211 for 7 in 35 overs. Dev Dubey top-scored with a brilliant 70 runs, while Shivansh Kumar contributed 38 and Shaurya Tiwari added 33. Madhav Gupta was the pick of the bowlers for KDMA Academy, taking 3 wickets for 25 runs.
In reply, KDMA Academy collapsed for just 108 runs. Kartik Singh fought valiantly with 52 runs, but the rest of the batting lineup failed. Mohd Fahad and Kuber Tiwari both took 3 wickets each, with figures of 3 for 16 and 3 for 18 respectively. Dev Dubey was named Player of the Match.

Allen House Panki defeated Guru Har Rai Inter College by 52 runs. Batting first, Allen House Panki scored 172 runs. In response, Guru Har Rai Inter College could only manage 120 runs, falling short by a significant margin.
