Cricketer Succumbs to Heart Attack During Match in Shahjahanpur
A tragic incident unfolded in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday when a 30-year-old man died of a heart attack while playing cricket. The victim, identified as Chandra, collapsed shortly after returning from batting, sending shockwaves through the local community.
Eyewitness Account of the Sudden Collapse
Eyewitnesses reported that Chandra appeared uneasy while batting and was even recording himself during the match, which tragically turned out to be his final video. His friend, Anoj Kumar, provided a detailed account of the events to the media.
"Chandra collapsed after returning from batting," Kumar stated. "He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and later referred to another facility for advanced care. Despite receiving intensive treatment for nearly 40 minutes, his condition continued to deteriorate."
Kumar further explained that Chandra was eventually shifted to a hospital in Bareilly, where he was declared dead. The medical efforts proved futile in saving his life.

The loss is particularly devastating for Chandra's family, as he was the only child of his parents and served as the sole breadwinner. Beyond his personal responsibilities, Chandra was a respected figure in local cricket circles.
