Da Costa on Le Mans: Perfect Race, Small Disappointment

Antonio Felix da Costa participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, part of the World Endurance Championship, and delivered a commendable performance in the iconic endurance race. The Formula E driver expressed happiness at completing the race without any mistakes but admitted a slight disappointment with a sixth-place finish. He used his free time ahead of the Sanya E-Prix to race for the Alpine Endurance Team in the Hypercar category.

Da Costa Calls 24 Hours of Le Mans 'A Perfect Race'

Antonio Felix da Costa concluded the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend and has now returned to his fitness regimen as he prepares for Round 11 of the Formula E season in Sanya. Summarizing his experience, da Costa wrote on Instagram: 'P6 it's all she wrote. A perfect race by the team and my teammates, we did zero mistakes, zero penalties, it's what we had. A small disappointment as we all wanted more. On my side personally it was difficult to find the confidence to push at 100% the whole race, managing a few little issues along the way. Guess we gotta come back, need to bring this trophy home!! Thank you team @alpine_endurance_team.'

He also shared a couple of memorable snaps from the race with the post. In another post, he shared several more pictures and captioned them: '2026 24 Hours of Le Mans. I left it all out there. There's always next year.' The post included photos of his wife, Ines Castro, who accompanied him to cheer him on. On his Instagram Stories, he also shared a candid video where he surprised her with a rose.

Da Costa Gears Up for Formula E Sanya E-Prix

Antonio Felix da Costa is now preparing for the next Formula E race, the Sanya E-Prix in China, scheduled for 20 June, with practice starting a day earlier. He shared a promotional video on Instagram, captioned: 'Do we ever stop? Nope, never. RACE WEEK (again). Already on the way to China.'

Da Costa currently sits sixth in the Formula E Drivers' Standings with 80 points. He has won twice this season, first in Jeddah and then in Madrid, and also secured a third-place finish in the most recent race in Monaco.
