A family of three sustained injuries on Monday after their vehicle veered out of control and plunged off a bridge on the Ludhiana-Ferozepur national highway near Jagraon. The incident occurred when Baljinder Singh, his wife Navjot Kaur, and their daughter Seerat Kaur were traveling towards Ludhiana in their Swift sedan.

The car crashed through the bridge's guardrails and landed near a roadside eatery below. Local villagers and passing motorists rushed to the wreckage and launched an immediate rescue operation to pull the trapped family from the vehicle. All three were quickly extricated and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have initiated an inquiry into the incident to determine the cause of the accident.
