The International Cricket Council (ICC) inducted former India captain Sourav Ganguly into its Hall of Fame on his 54th birthday, July 8, 2026. Ganguly becomes the 12th Indian cricketer to receive this prestigious honour.

Expressing his gratitude, Ganguly posted on social media: "Thank you ICC and Chairman Jay Shah for inducting me in the hall of fame .. it's a huge honour .. One of the 10 Indians to be inducted in the hall of fame ever .. Amazing to be a part of some great names .. @bcci."
