The Haryana State Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially released the examination schedule and the list of shortlisted candidates for the Female Police Constable (General Duty) Physical Measurement Test (PMT) 2026. Thousands of candidates who successfully qualified in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) merit list will now proceed to the physical testing stage, scheduled to be conducted from June 8 to June 13, 2026.
Shortlisted Candidates List Released
The HSSC has published the list of shortlisted candidates on its official website. Candidates can check their registration numbers on the result PDF to confirm their selection for the PMT.
Importance of PMT in Selection Process
The PMT is the second stage of the selection process and plays a critical role in screening candidates for admission to the Haryana Police force. Only those candidates who meet the prescribed physical measurement eligibility criteria will advance to subsequent rounds. This recruitment drive aims to fill 600 vacancies for Female Police Constables across the state.
Subsequent Stages After PMT
Candidates who qualify the PMT will proceed to the Physical Screening Test (PST), followed by a written examination, document verification, and a medical examination before final selection.
Height Standards for Female Candidates
The commission has reiterated the physical measurement criteria that candidates must satisfy during the PMT. The required height for all categories—General, OBC, SC, and ST—is 158 cm. Officials have warned that candidates failing to meet these prescribed standards will be disqualified from the recruitment process.
Physical Screening Test
After clearing the measurement stage, candidates will be required to undergo the Physical Screening Test, which evaluates endurance and fitness levels.
