An Indian Air Force (IAF) AN-32 aircraft crashed during landing in Assam's Jorhat district on Saturday, according to a defence spokesperson.
The incident occurred as the aircraft was attempting to land at the IAF's airbase in the Rowriah area. Senior IAF officials have rushed to the scene, and any casualties are yet to be determined, the spokesperson added.
The plane was carrying cargo and some personnel, sources confirmed. The IAF stated that details of the crash are awaited and did not comment on potential casualties.
