The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, scheduled to be played from July 23 in Harare. The squad sees three new faces—Prabhsimran Singh, Ashok Sharma, and Yash Thakur—who have earned their maiden India call-ups, while wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson has been left out.
Shreyas Iyer to Lead, Tilak Varma as Deputy
Shreyas Iyer will captain the side, with Tilak Varma appointed as vice-captain. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi retains his place in the squad after making his India debut during the ongoing five-match T20I series against England. The squad also includes experienced players like Rinku Singh, Shivam Dube, and Ishan Kishan, along with spinners Varun Chakaravarthy and Harsh Dubey.

The complete 15-member squad is: Shreyas Iyer (captain), Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma (vice-captain), Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), Shivam Dube, Suryansh Shedge, Rinku Singh, Harsh Dubey, Varun Chakaravarthy, Prince Yadav, Yash Thakur, Ashok Sharma, Mayank Yadav, and Prabhsimran Singh (wicketkeeper).
Series Schedule
The three T20Is will be played on July 23, July 25, and July 26, all at Harare Sports Club. This series follows India's ongoing five-match T20I series against England and precedes a three-match ODI series against England.
ODI Squad Update: Shivam Dube Replaces Injured Nitish Kumar Reddy
The BCCI also announced a change to India's ODI squad for the series against England. All-rounder Shivam Dube has been named as a replacement for Nitish Kumar Reddy, who was ruled out due to injury. The updated ODI squad includes: Shubman Gill (captain), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer (vice-captain), KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Gurnoor Brar, and Shivam Dube.
The BCCI has not specified the nature of Nitish Kumar Reddy's injury or his recovery timeline.
