Virat Kohli continued his remarkable run in the Indian Premier League 2026 by etching another record during Royal Challengers Bengaluru's Qualifier One match against Gujarat Titans at Dharamsala on Tuesday. The former RCB captain entered the contest with 557 runs this season and needed 43 more to become the first player in IPL history to achieve 600 or more runs in four consecutive seasons.
Kohli's Milestone Innings
Kohli reached the milestone before being dismissed by Jason Holder for 43 off 25 balls. In 15 innings this season, he has amassed 600 runs at an average of 50.00 and a strike rate of 164.38, his best in a single season. His tally includes one century and four half-centuries, with a highest score of 105.

Kohli also holds the record for the most runs in a single IPL season after scoring 973 runs in the 2016 edition.
