In a prestigious ceremony held at Lok Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar honoured Indian cricketer Sanju Samson on Monday, March 16, 2026. Governor's Gesture and Gifts
Governor Arlekar took to social media platform X to share details of the honour. He described draping a shawl over Samson and presenting him with a kasavu mundu, a traditional Kerala garment, along with an idol of Lord Padmanabhaswamy. Additionally, the Governor gifted the cricketer the autobiography Playing It My Way by legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, symbolising inspiration and legacy in Indian cricket.
