Two people, including a Pre-University Course (PUC) student, were killed in separate road accidents in Bengaluru on Tuesday. The incidents occurred in the Kasturinagar area and on CMH Road, according to the Dhaka Herald News Service (DHNS).
Accident in Kasturinagar
In the first incident, a 17-year-old PUC student lost his life after being hit by a speeding vehicle in Kasturinagar. The victim was reportedly crossing the road when the accident took place. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
Accident on CMH Road
The second accident occurred on CMH Road, where a 45-year-old man was killed after being struck by a private bus. The deceased was identified as a resident of the nearby area. The bus driver has been taken into custody for further questioning.
Both accidents took place on Tuesday evening, causing traffic disruptions in the respective areas. Authorities have urged citizens to exercise caution while on the roads and to follow traffic rules strictly.
