Chasing a modest target of 118 runs, Star Club reached 119 for the loss of just one wicket, with Dixit anchoring the innings.

Batting first, Kanpur Gymkhana managed to post 118 runs. Aditya Dubey top-scored with 30 runs, while another Aditya Dubey contributed 22. However, Govind Gupta was the pick of the bowlers for Star Club, claiming 5 wickets for 36 runs, supported by Munik Chandra who took 1 for 10.
