During those two triumphant playoff campaigns, Coleman's impact was undeniable. He recorded 24 points across 48 games, delivered a punishing 209 hits, and finished with an impressive plus-11 rating. These statistics underscore his reputation as a clutch performer who elevates his game when the pressure is highest.
LeBrun emphasised the value of this established trust. "Tampa Bay knows exactly what Blake Coleman brings in the playoffs, and that matters a lot when teams are planning for a long run," he stated. This familiarity makes the Lightning a logical and natural fit for a potential reunion.

However, any potential deal is not without its complications.
