The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit card for the SWAYAM January 2026 semester examinations on its website. Registered candidates for the Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) program can now download their hall tickets by logging in with their credentials.
Exam Schedule and Details
The examinations are scheduled to take place from June 17 to June 21, 2026, at various centers across the country. This session encompasses approximately 900 courses offered through the SWAYAM online learning platform.
Prior to releasing the admit cards, NTA issued an advance city intimation slip to help candidates know their exam center city and plan their travel. The agency clarified that the city slip is not the admit card.
How to Download SWAYAM January 2026 Admit Card
Candidates can follow these steps to download their hall ticket:
- Visit the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/swayam
- Click on the "Admit Card" link on the homepage
- Log in using your application number or registered email ID and password
- The admit card will appear on the screen
- Download the admit card
- Check all details carefully and take a printout for future use
Important Information
The agency has clarified that the admit card is issued provisionally and does not confirm final eligibility. Eligibility will be verified at a later stage.
SWAYAM Exam Pattern
The examinations will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and Hybrid mode, depending on the course. Each paper generally has a duration of three hours. Most question papers will be available in English, except for language-specific courses. For most courses, the examination carries 100 marks. The question pattern may vary from one course to another. Some papers have 100 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each, while others may have 50 multiple-choice questions carrying two marks each. Certain courses in hybrid mode may include a combination of multiple-choice, short-answer, and long-answer questions.
