Sooryavanshi overtakes top contenders
The young right-hander leapfrogged Heinrich Klaasen, Sai Sudharsan, and Shubman Gill to claim the coveted Orange Cap. Klaasen had briefly held the top spot after scoring 47 against Chennai Super Kings on Monday but now sits third with 555 runs from 13 innings at a strike rate of 155.89.
Marsh climbs to second
LSG opener Mitchell Marsh also made significant progress in the standings. His 96 off 57 balls in the first innings of the same match lifted him to second place with 563 runs from 13 innings at a strike rate of 163.18.
