His innings powered RR's chase and took his season tally to 579 runs from 13 matches, boasting a staggering strike rate of 236.32.

Sooryavanshi overtakes top contenders

The young right-hander leapfrogged Heinrich Klaasen, Sai Sudharsan, and Shubman Gill to claim the coveted Orange Cap. Klaasen had briefly held the top spot after scoring 47 against Chennai Super Kings on Monday but now sits third with 555 runs from 13 innings at a strike rate of 155.89.

Marsh climbs to second
