Kanpur: In the VIth Raj Ratan Women Cricket League held on Tuesday, Avi Foundation XI and Renu IVF XI emerged victorious against their respective opponents at different grounds in the city.

Avi Foundation XI vs Spark International
At the VSSD ground, Avi Foundation XI defeated Spark International by 2 wickets in a thrilling encounter. Spark International posted a total of 119 runs, with Priyanshi Singh scoring 38 and Garima Yadav adding 29. Shibu Pal Singh contributed 22 runs. For Avi Foundation, Puja Yadav claimed 2 wickets for 3 runs, while Aradhya Singh took 2 for 20, Angelena Verma 2 for 26, and Nandini Singh 2 for 14.
In response, Avi Foundation XI reached 120 for 8 wickets, thanks to Simran Bhati's 36 and Mahi Rajput's 25. Nandini Singh remained unbeaten on 12. Pratibha Singh was the pick of the bowlers for Spark International with 3 for 17, while Garima Yadav took 2 for 31. Nandini Singh was awarded the Woman of the Match.
Renu IVF XI vs Dam Strikers
At the BCA Ganga Barrage ground, Renu IVF XI beat Dam Strikers by 26 runs. Batting first, Renu IVF XI scored 176 for 6 wickets, with Ekta Singh smashing 78 runs. Divya contributed 29, and Anushka remained unbeaten on 21. Soumya Katiyar took 2 wickets for 20 runs for Dam Strikers.
In reply, Dam Strikers were bowled out for 140 runs. Shweta Verma top-scored with 46, and Kavya Bandoh added 33. For Renu IVF, Divya took 2 for 7, and Anupam Rajput claimed 2 for 24. Ekta Singh was named Woman of the Match.
District Judo Championship
In other sports news, TCH stole the show at the District Judo Championship, winning a total of 37 medals, including 15 gold medals. The championship concluded on Tuesday at the CSJM University Judo Centre. TCH emerged as the overall champion of the event.
