Jannik Sinner has been at the center of growing Wimbledon talk over the last few days. Reports about his health have continued to spread since his unexpected second-round loss to Juan Manuel Cerúndolo at the 2026 French Open. While questions remain about his condition, the World No. 1 was recently seen enjoying time in Monaco with his girlfriend, Laila Hasanovic.
The Italian star was spotted riding a red Vespa through the streets of Monaco with Hasanovic sitting behind him. Jannik Sinner wore an all-black outfit along with dark sunglasses during the outing. The sighting came at a time when rumors about his health and Wimbledon status have been making headlines.
After his Roland Garros campaign ended earlier than expected, Sinner revealed that he had fallen ill on the morning of his match against Cerúndolo. The intense heat in Paris also added to his physical struggles. Since then, there has been widespread discussion about his recovery and fitness ahead of the grass-court season.

The four-time Grand Slam winner remains one of the biggest names to watch ahead of Wimbledon, which is scheduled to begin on June 29.
Kim Clijsters and Blair Henley discuss anxiety factor behind Jannik Sinner’s French Open defeat
Former World No. 1 Kim Clijsters believes there could have been more than physical problems behind Sinner’s loss in Paris. During a recent discussion with tennis journalist Blair Henley, both spoke about the possible mental side of the situation.
“What was most perplexing to me is he [Jannik Sinner] was this close to the finish line. That is what made me feel that there is perhaps an anxiety factor here. When he feels heat or a physiological response coming on, there is a psychological aspect to it,” Blair Henley said.
“I feel the exact same way. It was very confusing…The anxiety factor is on top of where I think it went,” Kim Clijsters replied.
Clijsters also praised Sinner’s commitment to competing, saying many players might not have continued under similar circumstances. If his health improves as expected, the Italian will head to London as one of the strongest favorites to defend his Wimbledon crown.
